Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Some web applications require you to log in with a username, password and a second factor. You can use the KeyHub authenticator app to generate the 2FA code. This code is generated based on a registration.

If you no longer have access to the old phone, you will need to contact the helpdesk of the web application that you are trying to log in too.

 

How do you reconfigure the KeyHub authenticator app?

1. Self-service 2FA reset

While trying to log in to KeyHub you can request a reset of your 2FA. Choose ‘I am unable to sign in using two-factor authentication’ and follow the steps.

 

2. Do you still have your old phone?

In case you’ve deleted the app or have a new phone, you will need to link the app with your (new) phone via your profile.

 

Go to your profile in KeyHub and click on ‘Reconfigure’ (behind Authenticator app).

 

Then you can register the (new) phone with the KeyHub app by scanning the QR-code.
